Patryk Blocian, 19, of Lattens Square in Lowestoft, grabbed one of the boys by their jacket before demanding they hand over all of their belongings.

He then proceeded to punch and kick them both while 20-year-old Sam Morrison searched one of the victims' rucksack.

Blocian continued to threaten the boys in order for them to unlock and reset their mobile phones and iPads.

Both boys suffered minor injuries as a result of the attack, which took place on East Road, near to St Nicholas Church, in Great Yarmouth at around 4.30am on Tuesday, January 1.

Blocian appeared at Great Yarmouth Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, May 15, where he was sentenced to three years in prison.

Morrison, of no fixed address, appeared at an earlier hearing at the court on Friday, February 15, and was also jailed for three years, but details of the case were unable to be reported at the time due to the continued legal proceedings with Blocian.

Both men pleaded guilty to robbing the 15-year-old boys.

DC Mark Carrier, of Norfolk Police, said: "These sentences reflect the seriousness of the offences and the local community can be reassured that we will fully investigate incidents of this nature and seek to prosecute those breaking the law."
