A rolling block was set up on the A14 in Suffolk after a lorry broke down in the middle of morning rush hour.
Suffolk police received calls of traffic disruption on the westbound carriageway, near Nacton, approaching the Orwell Bridge, at around 8.20am.
A force spokesman said a rolling road block had been put in place while the lorry was removed from the carriageway.
βIt may cause some delays,β the spokesman added.
However, upon arrival, officers found the lorry had managed to get going without assistance and the roadblock was ended.
