Rougham: Blaze at thatched property tackled by firefighters

Firefighters tackled a blaze at a thatched property in a Suffolk village today.

Three fire engines spent nearly an hour dousing the flames of the chimney blaze at a property in Nether Street, Rougham after receiving reports of the incident at just before 3.55pm.

The fire was put out and brought under control by 4.50pm.
