Saxmundham-based live-in care company Christies Care has joined major UK businesses, including RBS, Barclays, and Waitrose, in being commended for its commitment to training and skills development with a Royal award.
Forty awards for training excellence were presented by the Princess Royal, Princess Anne, at the Princess Royal Training Awards ceremony at St James’s Palace.
Lin Barnes, registered manager of Christies Care, said: “The assessment process for these awards was extremely thorough and I’m extremely proud of our team and our industry-leading training programme. It was a great honour to receive the award from Princess Anne and to celebrate with my hardworking team.”
Alison Hawkins, training team leader for Christies Care, added: “It was an honour to be invited to St James’s Palace and see Lin collect the award from Princess Anne. It really was a day to remember.”
