Parents from across Suffolk have been offering their expertise advice to new mum and dad, Kate and Will, after the birth of their new son.

Using the online message board on our special Royal baby page, parents have been submitting their top tips and offering their congratulations to the proud parents.

One message reads: “To their Royal Highnesses: May we wish you the very best wishes for all the family and to the newest edition to the family. Hope everything goes well and that mother and baby are happy and healthy. From the Warner, Wilcox and Morgan families.”

Geoff Land said: “Congratulations and all best wishes from an old, old ex-pat in Milano.”

While another web reader said: “Take lots of pictures as those first few years fly by!”

Another piece of sound advice is: “Lots of love, laughter and routines to develop good behaviour.”

Several readers have simply wished Kate and Will good luck as they adjust to life as parents, a trying time for any new family.
