A HOME-owner returned home to discover two burglars, one of whom locked himself in an upstairs bedroom.
Police were called to Bury Road in Newmarket between 10.45am and 12.20pm last Thursday.
A spokeswoman for the police today told how the victim disturbed the burglars and found his home ransacked.
It quickly emerged that one of the burglars had locked himself upstairs in a bedroom.
The victim then challenged the second burglar, who pushed him away and ran downstairs and out of the house through the back door.
