County council’s education cabinet member Gordon Jones was keen to comment on the results achieved by schools in the area.

He said:“This success is a real testament to the hard work and dedication of pupils, parents, teachers and governors.

“Through our Raising the Bar programme we are improving outcomes for Suffolk pupils and ensuring that every child and young person in Suffolk can achieve their full potential.”

“I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Suffolk’s young people and wish them every success as they move on to new challenges.”
