The home side deservedly ran out winners with Magnus Karlsson unbeaten, although the 57-38 scoreline did not do justice to the Tigers' efforts.
Scunthorpe promoter Rob Godfrey said: "It's been five years of hard work to get to this stage. It just shows the quality of racing we get here week in, week out."
