DANIEL King is backing former Great Britain skipper Scott Nicholls to be back to his best next season.
Nicholls will line-up alongside King at Ipswich after enjoying a good spell with the club in the second half of last year.
Said King: “Scott had a very bad season last year. I felt pretty sorry for him. But when he came back to Ipswich, he changed completely as a rider. He was absolutely unbelievable to watch.
“Obviously, the GP was a big sore point for him, but I know he got back on form with his league racing and he was back on form in Sweden.
“I know he's going to be back to normal for next year and he may well be first pick for the (GB) team.”
