Search continues for missing man

Police officers searching for a man who went missing on Wednesday have yet to find the 24-year-old.

Ben Webber, formally of Fuchsia Lane, Ipswich, was reported missing just after 8.30pm on Thursday.

He was last seen at 10am the previous day in Ulster Avenue and was last spoken to on the phone at about 1.30pm.

Police say they have spoken to Mr Webber’s friends and family, and visited places he is believed to frequent, but to date all enquiries have proved negative.

Mr Webber is described as white, around 5ft 10in tall, of medium build, with short blond hair and blue eyes. When last seen, he was wearing dark grey Adidas jogging bottoms, a light grey Adidas tracksuit top and black trainers.

Anyone who knows of his whereabouts, or who has been in contact with him, is asked to call the duty inspector at Ipswich police station on 01473 613500 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
