A new cycle parking facility was opened at Colchester railway station yesterday.
The CyclePark+ site, paid for with a government grant, can store 140 bikes and includes CCTV, motion sensor lighting and key fob access to make it more secure.
It follows the recent installation of a two-tier cycle rack at the station.
John Mannion, Abellio Greater Anglia’s area customer service manager, said: “We are committed to improving cycle facilities for our customers and I am delighted that the new CyclePark+ is now open.”
