FIREFIGHTERS were called to a series of fires at homes in Rushmere St Andrew, Brantham and Lowestoft.
Two crews were called to Blair Close, Rushmere St Andrew at shortly before 1pm yesterday following reports of a small fire in the kitchen of an end-of-terrace house.
The flames were under control by 1.14pm.
At 5.30pm yesterday two crews were called to Palfry Heights, Brantham after fire took hold in an oven.
The flames were brought under control by 5.42pm.
Then at 7.39pm yesterday, three crews were called to Chesnut Avenue, Lowestoft to a fire in a rear bedroom of a two-storey home.
Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a single hose reel jet to control the flames by 8pm.
