In the first incident a blue Daewoo Matiz has skidded into the central reservation at Copdock on the carriageway heading towards Bury St Edmunds.

The car was left facing the wrong way in the road after the crash happened at 1.27pm. No-one was injured and a police spokeswoman said she was unsure if the incident was still causing traffic problems.

At 1.35pm three vehicles were involved in a smash on the A14 at Rougham, near to the Great Barton turn off.

A lorry, an Audi car and white van collided but no-one was injured.

The vehicles are now in a layby and no disruption is being caused to traffic in the area.

A further accident has occurred on the B1077 three quarters of a mile from Helmingham, near Stowmarket at 1.35pm.
