Motorcyclist seriously hurt in Ipswich crash

A man has been taken to hospital following a serious crash in Ipswich.

Police were called to Ranelagh Road at 6.55pm today following reports of a collision between a car and a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with what police described as “serious but not life-threatening” injuries.

The road is currently closed between Ancaster Road and Paul’s Road while officers carry out investigation work at the scene. Police say they are currently awaiting recovery of the vehicles.
