WOLVERHAMPTON youngster Joe Haines is in hospital after suffering serious injuries during the Jack Young Cup meeting in Gillman, Australia, on Saturday.
WOLVERHAMPTON youngster Joe Haines is in hospital after suffering serious injuries during the Jack Young Cup meeting in Gillman, Australia, on Saturday.
Haines crashed in the second race and reports suggest he has sustained a broken shoulder, broken ribs, a punctured lung, and possibly some cracked vertebrae.
Parrys International Wolves team-mate Ty Proctor accompanied Haines to hospital after withdrawing from the meeting to be with his colleague.
Haines is currently under sedation to allow his lung to recover.
