Severe travel delays on the A12 near Witham, Essex, have been caused by a crash involving two vehicles.
The incident happened on the northbound carriageway, leaving queuing traffic between junction 21 for the B1389 and junction 22.
Congestion is affecting the road to junction 20a.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journeys.
