DETECTIVES have arrested a man for a sex attack on a teenager in Colchester.
The 17-year-old girl was subjected the terrifying ordeal in a Colchester subway.
She was assaulted in the St Botolph's underpass close to Colchester Town Station between 9.30pm and 10.30pm on Tuesday.
Officers sealed off the area and carried out painstaking forensic examinations in their hunt for clues.
They have also been scouring CCTV footage of the area.
Essex Police announced yesterday that a man from the London area has been arrested in connection with the incident and was due to be questioned last night.
