People across Suffolk are being invited to share their sporting memories at a special event in Stowmarket on Thursday.

Suffolk FA, Sporting Memories Suffolk and Suffolk Archives have come together to host the event at the Suffolk FA headquarters in Kestrel Drive, Stowmarket from 11am-3pm.

Clubs and individuals are being urged to come along and share their memories and memorabilia, and share their stories to be recorded.

Suffolk FA flexible football officer Darren Scoulding said: “there are some fascinating individuals with great stories to share.

“Some of those stories we may have some awareness of but I am sure there are others that we have no idea about. I am really excited to be part of the drop-in sessions and to spend time with this important part of our Footballing community.”
