FIREFIGHTERS were unable to prevent a shed being totally destroyed by fire in rural Suffolk.
The blaze also spread to nearby conifers and trees in the garden of a home in The Street, Metfield, near Harleston.
A fire crew from Halesworth were called to the scene just after 6pm. They arrived to find the shed, measuring eight by six metres, entirely engulfed by flames.
Using a single hose, firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control by 6.40pm.
