A SUFFOLK town was brought to a standstill today after an unusual set of visitors were spotted walking down the street on market day.
A duck and her 11 ducklings were spotted passing the East Anglian Daily Times offices in Woolhall Street, Bury St Edmunds, shortly before 1pm.
The feathered group then headed down towards the taxi rank at Cornhill and down towards the Corn Exchange, which was holding the annual East Anglian Beer Festival.
Members of the public were stopped in their tracks by the sight as the family waddled its way around the town.
The RSPCA was contacted to take the group to safety.
