A cabinet containing four shotguns was stolen during a burglary at a Bures home yesterday.
Burglars forced their way into the rear of the house in between 8.05am and 5.45pm.
As well as the cabinet, containing two Churchill 12-bore shotguns, one Beretta and one Lincoln 20-bore, jewellery was also taken.
Police are asking anyone who may have noticed any suspicious vehicles or activity in the area – particularly in the Dead Lane vicinity – to come forward.
Detectives also want to hear from anyone who may have been offered any similar items for sale since or anyone with information about the burglars.
Anyone with information should contact West Suffolk CID on 101, quoting crime number 12557, or alternatively call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
