An 18-year-old is to appear in court after being charged with five driving offences following an incident in Shotley.
Curtis McCullogh, of The Street, Shotley, is accused of careless driving, failing to stop for a police officer, driving a vehicle without insurance, driving a vehicle without a valid licence, and driving a vehicle without a test certificate.
The allegation relates to a Peugeot 206 which was seen at around 11.15pm on Thursday.
McCullogh was subsequently arrested and taken to Martlesham police investigation centre, where he was charged yesterday.
He has been released on bail until his appearance before South East Suffolk Magistrates’ Court on February 10.
