A SIGN has been put up outside a Suffolk hall in memory of one of those who looked after it.

The sing has been placed outside Little Hall Museum in Lavenham in memory of Eve Ranzetta who died suddenly in August, 2008.

A short ceremony took place on Monday during which Tony Ranzetta, Eve’s widower, unveiled the main sign which says: “This sign is dedicated to the memory of Eve Ranzetta who wanted people to know about the house and its contents”.

Vic Flute, chairman of the Little Hall Management Committee, said: “Eve Ranzetta, one of my predecessors as chairman of the Little Hall Management Committee, was responsible for the museum attaining its status as an accredited museum by the Museum Libraries Archives Council (MLA).

“She devoted much of her time over many years to the care and promotion of the museum.”
