Award-winning food business Truly Traceable launches Suffolk Day pie
To celebrate Suffolk Day today, award-winning local food business Truly Traceable has developed a very special Suffolk pie, incoporating some of the most iconic ingredients from the county, with a seasonal twist.
“We thought it would be great to showcase some of the best Suffolk producers within our bacon, brie and recurrant picnic pie,” said Lynn and Steve Tricker. “We’ve incorporated Blythburgh free-range pork, Baron Bigod brie from Fen Farm Dairy and redcurrants from High House Fruit Farm in Sudbourne. We also thought that, seeing as it’s Midsummer’s Day, people could celebrate by having one of our pies at a picnic!”
The pies are on sale today at the Thoroughfare Deli in Halesworth and will be avialable at Halesworth’s Midsummer Market on Saturday and Sotterley Country Fair on Sunday.
