Sir Bobby fights cancer again

FORMER England and Ipswich Town manager Sir Bobby Robson has beaten cancer for the third time following surgery.The problem was discovered during routine and unconnected surgery after a skiing accident when he suffered damage to his ribs.

FORMER England and Ipswich Town manager Sir Bobby Robson has beaten cancer for the third time following surgery.

The problem was discovered during routine and unconnected surgery after a skiing accident when he suffered damage to his ribs.

A suspected cancerous growth on his lung was detected and it has been removed.

Sir Bobby, 73, has already battled with cancer twice in 1995 and 1992.
