SIX people have been arrested after police discovered almost 200 cannabis plants in an outbuilding.
Police officers executed a drugs warrant at an address in Half Moon Lane, Finningham, near Stowmarket, yesterday morning.
They seized 175 cannabis plants and hydroponic equipment from an outbuilding.
Six people were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis – a 47-year-old man from the Eye area, a 58-year-old man from the Stowmarket area, a 58-year-old woman from the Stowmarket area, a 41-year-old man from Stowmarket, a 49-year-old man from the Stowmarket area and a 23-year-old man, also from the Stowmarket area.
All six have been released on police bail to return to Bury St Edmunds Police Station on November 8.
