An award-winning Suffolk photographer gave a talk to enthusiasts on her diverse career, which has seen her cover subjects ranging from birth to boxing.
Aldeburgh Photography Group welcomed Sky Arts Master Photographer of the Year 2017 Gillian Allard to its first meeting of the year.
The group’s Peter Brown praised Allard on her “exciting presentation” which covered her photography career, work as a teacher, competition success and her “very innovative printing techniques on wood and concrete”.
Mr Brown said the group was also able to make good use of its new venue at Aldeburgh Library, which provides “excellent audio visual technology and first class projection facilities”.
The group’s next meeting is on Wednesday, February 21, from 7.30pm, when the subject is “night photography”. Visit Aldeburgh Photography Group for details or Gillian Allard for examples of Allard’s work.
