Smash and grab burglary at Fenwicks in Colchester

Police are investigating a smash and grab burglary at Fenwicks in Colchester where the offenders fled the scene on mopeds.
According to a spokesman for Essex Police, a number of people smashed a window at the popular High Street department store at around 3.05am this morning, Thursday September 6.
He said: “A number of items were taken and the people left on mopeds.
“Our investigations are ongoing.”
Police are appealing for information from the public as part of their enquiries.
