Smoke grenades put through two letterboxes of homes in Bury St Edmunds

Two incidents of arson have taken place in Bury St Edmunds after a smoke grenade was put through the letterboxes of both properties.
They took place on Saturday, July 7, between 12.20am and 1.15am and now Suffolk police are appealing for information about the crimes.
Offenders struck first in Kendall Close with scorch marks caused to the carpet and smoke damage also caused to the wall.
And at just under an hour later damage was caused to a property on Daisy Avenue by the same method.
Suffolk Police and Suffolk Fire and Rescue attended the scene and no one was injured.
Detectives are linking the two incidents and would be interested in speaking to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area at the times stated, or who may have any information to assist the investigation.
