Man and woman injured in crash near crossroads

A woman has been taken to hospital and a man was treated by paramedics after a crash on the A1094 near Snape this morning, police have said.
Officers were called by the ambulance service shortly after 6.30am to reports of a collision between a car and a van at the crossroads close to the Saint John the Baptist Church in Snape.
Two people were hurt in the collision, a man and a woman, but their injuries are believed to be minor, a police spokesman said.
The woman has been taken to hospital for a check-up while an ambulance crew checked over the man at the scene.
The A1094 was blocked in both directions while police and paramedics dealt with the incident.

Both vehicles have now been recovered and the road was clear again as of 8.20am.
Witnesses to the collision and anyone with information should call Suffolk police on 101 quoting CAD 73 of today, December 1.
