A former World Snooker Champion visited west Suffolk for the grand opening of a new art gallery.
Dennis Taylor, who won the title in 1985, spent Friday evening at ‘Melford’s Famous Old House Gallery’ in Hall Street, Long Melford, where he helped with a raffle to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
The new gallery’s opening exhibition features paintings of iconic Parisian scenes such as Notre Dame and the Moulin Rouge by world famous artists including Edouard Leon Cortes.
The gallery will feature around 70 paintings at a time alongside other artworks.
