FOUR of East Anglia's Labour MPs will be at Portman Road on Sunday for the Ipswich Town-Norwich City derby match – split down the middle on whom they are supporting.
In the blue corner are Chris Mole (Ipswich) and Ivan Henderson (Harwich), while supporting the Canaries are the city's two MPs Charles Clarke and Ian Gibson.
Indeed, so enthusiastic is Mr Clarke – Secretary of State for Education – that he will be eschewing the comforts of corporate hospitality and the director's box and will be sitting with the Norwich supporters on the terraces.
Mr Mole said: "My money's on the Town. With just four points between the teams this is already looking like a crucial game in the race for automatic promotion."
Mr Clarke added: "The Ipswich-Norwich games are always lively and closely fought, but this match is of vital importance to both sides."
