Suffolk: Solicitor Helen Korfanty has been selected by the county’s LibDems as their candidate in this year’s PCC election.
Ms Korfanty specialises in criminal and family law. She will be bidding to take over the role at this year’s elections on May 5. She is the fourth candidate to be declared so far – Tory Tim Passmore is seeking re-election and there will also be a challenge from UKIP’s Simon Tobin and independent Colin Sutton. Labour will select a candidate later this month.
