The coastguard was called to assist a boat with four people on board after it suffered gearbox trouble off the Suffolk coast.
Southwold lifeboat was called to help the six-metre boat, Ciara, off Benacre Ness at about 4.25pm today.
Amid fuel concerns, the crew were joined by colleagues from Lowestoft, who towed Ciara.
