FIREFIGHTERS have tackled a blaze which took hold of a van this evening. The fire brigade were alerted to the scene in Gardner Road, Southwold at around 7.30pm.
A crew from the town’s fire station and another from Wrentham fire station attended.
They discovered the van engulfed in flames and used two sets of breathing equipment to help them tackle the fire.
The incident was under control by 8pm.
