Legendary caricaturist Roger Law who co-created the popular television series Spitting Image, delighted visitors to Sudbury’s Gainsborough’s House with a talk about his work. During the 80s and 90s, Mr Law was responsible for the creation of the puppets which pilloried the rich and famous.
His amusing illustrated lecture, The Art of Theft, was timed to coincide with the current satire exhibition at the museum, entitled Samuel William Fores, Satirist: Caricatures from the Reform Club. It runs until February 22.
