A primary school headteacher has said how proud he is of his pupils as they donated shoeboxes filled with gifts for Operation Christmas Child.
Run by the Samaritans Purse children across the country pack the boxes with presents, clothes and useful items for disadvantaged children in other countries.
Students at St Mary’s Primary School in Hadleigh have donated to the cause and headteacher Andrew Frolish said they enjoyed doing it.
“The children enjoyed choosing gifts and like the idea they can make a real difference to another child’s life,” he said.
“We show them pictures of children receiving the gifts so they can see the expressions on their faces and reactions.”
