A DOG which was stabbed in the head and neck after an argument between two men in Norwich had to be put to sleep yesterday as a result of its injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the vicious attack on the Staffordshire bull terrier which occurred on Tuesday at about 8.40pm in Gas Hill.
Following a row, one of the men attacked the dog, which vets believe was also thrown to the floor suffering severe spinal injuries.
Despite their best efforts to save it, the dog had to be put down .
