Two properties in the same road have been hit by burglars in Stanton.
The first break-in happened between 3pm on August 7 and 8.30am the following day in Upthorpe Road.
A door was forced open and jewellery and cash was stolen along with two TVs and games consoles.
Tools and garden equipment was also taken from sheds at the property.
The second burglary happened between 12.30pm on August 8 and 2pm on August 11.
This time two laptops and two televisions were stolen from the house.
A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary in connection with the crimes and has been bailed until Septmeber 17 pending further enquiries.
Police have asked for anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the village, or who has any information about these crimes, to contact the Bury St Edmunds Priority Crime Team on 101.
