Hugo Fairbanks Weston, 18, who played young Ed in the singer/songwriter’s hit video cut the ribbon at the store this morning, before customers were able to buy some of Ed’s clothes on sale.

Among the 10 items were T-shirts, trainers and a pair of sunglasses, which helped raise £1,025 for EACH within its first 90 minutes.

Michala Jones, EACH shop manager, said: “We’re delighted to have opened our new shop in Saxmundham and really look forward to becoming part of the community.

“The till has been ringing since we opened the doors, with shoppers keen to pick up a piece of Ed’s clothing.”
