STOKE have hit a snag in their bid to bring in a fresh face this week after a proposed signing fell through.
The Potters are seeking a replacement for Lee Smart, who was recalled by Birmingham, and boss Dave Tattum is angry at the turn of events.
He said: “I'm absolutely distraught as I've acted in good faith. I re-declared the team with the new rider in only for this to happen.”
