A car stolen in a burglary was found bearing cloned number plates when it was tracked down by police on the A14.

The Norfolk and Suffolk Roads and Firearms Policing Unit said the vehicle - which they found on the A14 at Haughley, near Stowmarket, on Saturday (July 14) morning - was stolen in the Cambridgeshire area.

In a Twitter post, officers said the vehicle has also been involved in crime in the Stowmarket area and was “displaying cloned number plates”.
