Firefighters fought to put out a car fire to stop it spreading to nearby buildings in the early hours.
A fire crew from Stowmarket were called to the blaze on River Gardens at 1.50am this morning and on arrival immediately requested back-up as the car was well alight and close to a garage and house.
A further appliance from Needham Market arrived and together the crews had brought the fire under control by 2.20am.
A thermal image camera was later used to check for fire spread.
