Stowmarket: Football matches will support AJ’s Legacy

Football matches will raise money for a charity which supports young people in the Stowmarket area.

Tomorrow the matches will be played at Stowmarket Town Football Club. Kick off is at 1pm with refreshments available throughout the afternoon.

Money will be raised for AJ’s Legacy. Aiden Thomas Jones, from Stowmarket, was only 20 when he was killed by a drink driver on May 1, 2009.

Today we can finally reveal the names of the people selected to be on our first ever Inspiring Women of Suffolk list.

This is a list that Suffolk should be proud of - 100 women who are positive role models for future generations, women who have achieved success in a diverse range of fields from business, the arts, sport and education to the third sector.
