A seven-year-old girl who wants to star as an actress has launched her career with a modelling agency.

Maria Fiske, of Kittiwake Court, Stowmarket, has signed up to the London-based agency Scallywags.

The Cedars Park Primary School student has already been successful with roles advertising a German department store’s latest range and work for the World Wildlife Fund.

Maria’s mum, Laurie said: “She started off at a theatre group school about a year ago doing performances and she was taught how to act, sing and dance. We asked if it would be any good to put her with an agency and they said we should.

“I think it is what she was meant to do.”
