A CONCERT has seen two musical groups come together to perform in a town church for charity.
The St Edmundsbury Male Voice Choir and Stowmarket Salvation Army Band played in the town’s St Peter and St Mary’s Church.
The event raised money for the Sudbury-based support group Success after Stroke.
John Kendall is president of the Rotary Club of Stowmarket which organised the event. He said the large audience was particularly fond of the two songs performed from Les Miserables. Proceeds will also go to buying new instruments for the Salvation Army Band.
