There has been a road accident in Stowmarket involving a car and a motorcycle this evening.
The crash happened on the B1115 Station Road West at Gipping Way. A doctor from Suffolk Accident and Rescue Service attended the scene and treated the male motorcyclist who was in his 30s.
It is believed the motorcyclist came off his bike and hit the curb, he suffered a serious but not life-threatening injury to his leg and was taken to West Suffolk Hospital.
The road was partially blocked in both directions but has now been reopened and is clear for traffic.
