POLICE are appealing for information after a man was assaulted and robbed of his rucksack.
Officers were called to reports of the alleged street robbery in Needham Road, Stowmarket at 4am today.
It is understood the incident took place 30 minutes prior to the call.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said the incident had left the victim with minor injuries.
He added: “After assaulting him, the two males stole his rucksack”.
