The winner’s identity is set to be revealed in a celebration event which is due to be held tomorrow.

It is thought that the winning scratchcard was purchased from the Esso garage in Combs Ford on Sunday.

The mystery woman is not the first lucky scratchcard winner in the region with several others scooping big cash prizes over the years.

In March 2016 Nicola Flack from Bury St Edmunds won £250,000 on a £2 scratchcard she bought from the Spar shop in St Olaves Road on the Howard Estate.

In December 2013 24-year-old Jamie Grieve from Lowestoft won £1,000,000 on a seasonal scratchcard that he had bought from the Co-Op store in Kessingland on a whim.
