Children from across Stowmarket are invited to a brand new ‘mad science’ festival next month.
In celebration of British Science Week, Stowmarket Mad Science Festival will take place during the Easter holidays at Cedars Park Community Centre.
The festival, run by Stowmarket Town Council and Anglian Water, will feature a range of interactive stage shows, plus the opportunity to make a human light chain with plasma balls, erupting volcanoes, mad science slime and magic mud.
Event organiser Sarah-Jayne Thomas said: “We are really excited about hosting this event in Stowmarket. The scientists at Mad Science have developed a reputation nationally for providing exciting and interactive learning for young people.
“We are sure that they will inspire local children and increase their interest in science and technology.”
The festival will take place on Tuesday, April 10 from 10am until 3pm.
